q: where will my child
stay while in port orange?
a: all interns will
be placed in host homes provided by the people of family
worship center in port orange, fl. they will spend
approximately two weeks in their host home and the rest of
the time with the decision ministries staff on the
florida institute of technology campus.
q: do all interns need
vehicles?
a: we highly
recommend that each intern have their own vehicle, however,
it is not a requirement.
q: i am concerned about
the financial aspect of the internship.
a: we are
encouraging each potential intern to start raising funds
now! saving, learning to manage your money and budget
are key ingredients to being a good leader. the most
important thing is to let people know what they are doing.
support letters and sponsorship are always a great start.
they are not a part of this internship to work, but to be
developed as a leader. each intern is coming to be
invested into, stretched and have the God-given gifts and
talents on the inside of them drawn out. people will
get behind them and support them simply because they are
doing what they believe God would have them to do and
because they are investing their time and energies into
something that will produce life-long results. rest
assured, the decision ministries staff is praying for
and believing with each intern for favor on their jobs and
all the monies they need.
q: when is the money
actually due?
a: $800 is due on
april 27 and $675 is due on may 31 (please note: if for
some reason you feel you will not be able to make one of
these deadlines please call our offices.)
